This system has been thrown up on a regular basis by one of those punting magazines as the be all and end all of systems. We haven’t tried it but here are the rules:
Rules:
- Eliminate any horse that is not pre-post favourite according to the morning newspaper
- Eliminate any contender unless it won its last start within the previous 21 days
- Eliminate any contender unless it won or was placed in two of its last three starts
- Eliminate any contender that has not run within 100 metres of today’s distance in at least one of its last three starts
